Catnip Spray contains catnip oil containing nepetalactone, an active organic compound which causes behavioural change in cats.
Cats inhale the aromatic oils of catnip, where they come into contact with special receptors in the cat’s nose. These receptors are linked to the brain and affect the cat’s behaviour. The allure of plant extracts in Catnip Spray stimulates the instincts of playing games in most cats, providing a burst of playful energy, usually followed by a mellow period. The effect may vary from cats, but it often makes our furry friends calm and happy.
Directions for Use: Shake the bottle before use and spray from a distance of 15-20 cm on top of the item you want your cat to show interest. It can be used 2-3 times a week. Cats over 6 – 9 months of age show more interest.
